Rammstein is my only thing left to look forward to.

The GF bought tickets to The Book of Mormon scheduled for next month. Um, not happening.

Lamb of God is cancelled. We’re all living in sin now.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up on the Rammstein thing either. My brother lives in Switzerland and wo rks for a very large American corporation and used to do frequent trips back to the US h ead office.
His head office is saying that that’s not going to happen until deep into next year...and given the optics of the US from outside I don’t think too many other countries are going to let their citizens leave for the US (or most anywhere else) until then either...

Give it time and Rammstein will be cancelled too

Every time I see Lamb of God:
And yeah, I echo those sentiments.

Bought tickets for Atlanta Midtown Music Festival because fuck you ticketmaster so my ex could take our kiddo to see My Chemical Romance. Dunno if MCR is still going to play but surely no refund because Georgia. Up in the air if ex even wants to do the travel even though she has family there.
I did get to see Black Flag and And you will know us by the Trail of Dead this year so doing ok. My new guitar should be here Friday, and drummer looking to sink a few bucks into his kit that lives at my house. Maybe can salvage a bit of 2020

Glad I didn’t buy any tickets ahead of time. I am (still wishful thinking) supposed to be out of the country when megadeth and lamb of god were coming through

I’m at 3 festivals and 2 concerts so far, and there’s two more that are going to follow (August and September, highly doubt that’s going to be permitted).
I would expect that all live, in-person events of any sort are going to be out until either the virus goes completely away of its own accord, or there’s a vaccine in mass production that’s been administered to the vast majority of the population. So, anywhere from 2ish years to forever, depending on how well the trial phases go .

I definitely
read the title
as a
punchline
in Bill Burrs voice and imagined that psychopathic smile and glint in his eyes.

I discovered a concert that I want to buy tickets for. The date is June 27. I’ m trying to weigh the chances it will still go on. I have to call the box office and ask what their cancellation policy will be. I need guarantees.

Several shows, few RallyCross events, couple of trips, my wedding...lots of things canceled this year. At least I can go fishing this weekend.

I’ve lost track of how many credits from venues I’ve received for things.
We’ve so far missed: our honeymoon in the Caribbean, my birthday trip to Sebring for the 12 hours race, our trip to NY to visit family, and our trip to Belgium. And now it looks like my roll over vacation time will end up going unused. Womp womp.
I don’t recall when I last took time off and my employer is suggesting I just use my vacation time that rolled over to relax mentally. What am I supposed to do with 10 unused days? I know I’ll spend 80% of that time doing home improvement and 20% of it doing nothing and being bored. And since I’m home I' ll still end up getting daily calls to help with something work related.

3 Gambler events and counting. This year I had planned to go to EVERY Gambler I could, now I'll be lucky if one even happens.

A local venue to us is offering 150% credit if you don’t take the refund. We took that for the most expensive tickets we had, took a refund on the others. It’s good through 2022, so we should be able to make use of it unless they go out of business in the meantime.
